You've all put up with him: the class clown, the office prankster. You've committed a funny line to memory, thinking you'd strike back at him, only to have your attack perceived as encouragement for his behaviour. He just refuses to let you have the last word. What you don't know is that he virtually lives on humour sites, funny emails and tweets, committing to memory amounts of data that would put modern computer platforms to shame. One of this clown's co-workers was so impressed by the repertoire, that he urged me to start dumping it on an internal website at the college where we work. The website internally quickly went viral on campus, to the point where I had to move it to a different server. When the collection passed 2,000 entries, the co-worker suggested publication. And there it is: The First Instalment.
