This community of Elves are committed to helping Mother Earth by intervening in human affairs, if they are disastrous to humans. Belin-half human/half elf-exceeds the powers, skills, and abilities of adult elves starting at the age of not-quite-two-years-old. She goes through a period of great confusion trying to establish herself in two worlds...also trying to figure out why some humans are terribly evil. As a young child she goes about the "Lands" with her mother healing the sick, and protecting humans from a warring overlord with dad. She has many adventures, but she remains meek and humble of heart.
