Six-year-old Mikhail is scared to death. His mother is crying, clutching him. The KGB and East German Stasis are in the house. A man rips Mikhail from his mother's arms and he is transferred to a remote country area in Russia, to be trained as a Cold War Agent, never to see his mother again. Only two other children speak his native language and they are forbidden to speak it. Secretly, they band together and speak their own language, despite there being serious consequences for doing so. Years pass as they are trained to become agents for the East. Mikhail is sent to England to infiltrate the British Army, and later MI-5. Will he succeed? Secret Agents are taught never to get emotionally involved or attached to anyone. They must be completely emotionless in their work and private lives. Will Mikhail break the rules? This story is based on the true life memoirs of former Cold War Double Agent "Mikhail" aka Brett Seymour.
