Zoe is looking forward to her teenage years. Her best friend, Hope, is a little sensitive about her weight and Daniel has problems with social interaction. Together they are The Awesome Lost and Found Society. Their adventures involve family members, a farmer, a gypsy couple at the local fair, a cat lady and a thief. The three friends learn about the value of teamwork and achieve personal growth during the summer that turns out to be anything but 'boring'.
