This story takes place on the Greek islands of Crete and Anafi. A young girl named Kara is hurt in a haunted Mosque in the ruins of Knossos, and the citizens begin a recall of the mayor. Hector, the mayor, calls upon his old college fraternity brother Julius Petropoulos, who is the Chief Magistrate of the Island of Anafi, for help. Julius Petropoulos, who is running for Governor of the Islands, calls upon Dr. Mildred Keitel, of the Cypress Park Institute of Spirituality in San Francisco. Dr. Keitel and Julius Petropoulos know each other from their involvement in a search for and discovery of ancient treasure. Much to the surprise of everyone, through the phenomenon of spiritual transfiguration, the spirit in the Mosque is found to be a former fiance of Mohammed and has hidden scriptures that clarify portions of the Koran. The clarifications call for an end to suicide bombers and end to holy war. Once authenticated, Dr. Keitel and her assistant Joy are nominated for the Nobel Peace...
