Schooltime Reflections - Feelings 202 illustrates that the one constant which affects every aspect of our lives and is the heart of life itself - is our FEELINGS. The book is about my feelings and emotions as I was growing up as a student and later as a teacher in the public schools of Peekskill, New York. In a somewhat chronological educational journey, I describe actual incidents taken from my experience in the classroom and in life. The uniqueness of this approach is that I not only provide a description of these events from a child's prospective and adult's point of view, but that I also share down-to-earth "lessons" for the reader to consider and possibly incorporate into his or her personal and/or academic life. Because of the universal nature of these experiences, this book is pertinent and relevant as an introspective guide for all to recognize the importance of always treating students and others appropriately.
