William Wilkie Collins (1824-1889) was an English novelist and playwright, best known for The Woman in White and The Moonstone. The Two Destinies is about a couple who build their marriage on the ideal of spiritual love, using all manner of seance, trance, and supernatural experiment. This volume also contains Mr. Medhurst and the Princess, Miss Jerome and the Clergyman, Mr. Captain and the Nymph, and Mr. Marmaduke and the Prophet.
