As many a cow-chaser will happily tell you, as a sentient being a cow expresses emotions such as anger, pain, passion and so forth. That said, it is surely logical that there are cows with a zany sense of humour: Lucky was one such cow. Her perspective on man, whom she irreverently labels Genius Humanitas, is the stuff of her very own legend. In picture and in prose, this is her story...the life of an Alberta cow; it is her very own look at Homo Sapiens, a genus of mammal that in her book, at least, takes itself a mite too seriously.
