This experimental essay introduces us to Eduardo Molinari's unique practice that entwines conceptualism, literature and performance and connects to methodologies of historiography, ethnography, militant research and psychogeography. It follows his research along the Camino Real, concatenating discussions of Argentina's pre-Conquest cultures, genocide and the consolidation of the Argentine state, guerrillas and counter-insurgency, the picketer movement that emerged in the 1990s, and the financial and political crisis that peaked in 2001. Eduardo Molinari is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Buenos Aires. Walking as an aesthetic practice, research using artistic means and interdisciplinary methodologies are the basis of his practice.
