Cheryl Fields, a student who learned early on that the secret world of Greek sororities and fraternities is a mystical, wonderful and sometimes deadly source of family. Cheryl falls in love with Mike Johnson as she helps him pledge a fraternity during Cheryl's freshman year. Cheryl takes up the charge and joins one of the largest Black Greek sororities in the country.
