Reverend Sheldon Dibble (1809-1845) was an American missionary to the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii), a teacher and author. His works include: Ka Mooolelo Hawaii (The History of Hawaii) (1838), History and General Views of the Sandwich Islands' Mission (1839), A History of the Sandwich Islands (1839), Hawaiian Islands (1843) and Thoughts on Missions (1844).
