So, who were the unwitting characters in the crossfire, when that single impetuous act set life's dominoes a-tumbling? It all depends upon their perspective, I guess, whether they emerged from the mayhem as winners or losers, happy or unhappy; dead or alive! If only Terry had been stronger, followed his head and not his heart, then none of this would have happened; but then he'd never have met The Girl Downstairs ...
