A story of intrigue, danger and love set in 19th Century England. Flora and Will Tarrant's harmonious life is interrupted, whilst out walking one day by a cry for help from a Manor House. Their lives take a turn when they set out to rescue a young pregnant girl from the house of her unscrupulous captors. The situations they find themselves and the people they encounter will test their love and their determination to its limits.
