The author pays particular attention to the "Cultivation of the Coat". There is a "Standard description of the correct appearance and scale of points" and a number of excellent photos of famous dogs of the day. This is a fascinating read for any Yorkshire Terrier enthusiast or historian of the breed but also contains much information that is still useful and practical today.
