While it may be said there is a book hiding somewhere within all of us, the same is not so true about poetry. In her debut collection Sophie Lloyd shares some of her favourite poems she has penned along with small illustrations. At just twelve, Sophie is already a prolific poet giving her family lots of enjoyment and pleasure with her words. In this collection she gives us an insight into her world through her 'chocolate brown eyes'. At a time where most teenagers' lives are taken up with mobile phones, social networks and computer games, it is refreshing to come across youngsters, who due to hard work and talent, deserve encouragement and guidance on their chosen paths to success. It is hoped that this encouragement will add to Sophie's drive to succeed in becoming the best at what she does for the rest of her life.
