The purpose of this book is to demonstrate that ideas, for writing, can come from any source, be on any subject and that the writer does not have to be an 'expert' in the use of language. The stories in this book have been inspired by my own experiences,ideas and formal exercises from my membership of a local writing group. Many people assume that authors have some 'God Given' talent, but I hope to show you that ordinary, everyday stories can be just as valid for publication. I hope the reader enjoys reading the stories as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Do have a go at some of the exercises yourself, try to expand or enhance the stories presented The most important thing is to enjoy, even love, what you have created, then share it and hopefully publish your own work. My stories are sad, happy, humourous, mind boggling, historical and some have an exciting twist at the end; a roller coaster ride for the imagination. Enjoy the ride.
