This story is loosely based upon an actual criminal case. It involves the disappearances of various women over a twenty year time frame. They are presumptive victims of murder, though none of their bodies were ever recovered. It is problematic that their remains were dropped into abandoned mine shafts somewhere in the desert terrain outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. Each woman was in the process of terminating a romantic relationship at the time she dropped off the radar screen. The reality is that some men don't handle rejection with civility. Each woman's car was found abandoned in a public parking lot. The doors to the respective vehicles were locked. No key was found in the ignitions. No car contained a body. Each woman vanished without a clue. They were simply- bye bye! This tale of missing persons chronicles three mysteries. Were the women murdered? If so, was their demise at the hand of a single killer? What will be the trial verdicts?
