Adam Knight is starting his junior year in high school when he finds himself waking up from a coma after a fatal accident hospitalized him and his high school crush. As if that weren't enough to handle, he also learns he has been drugged with an unknown substance by a deluded scientist who fled the scene once administered that gives him an advanced mental capacity. Soon, Adam's new girlfriend, his life, and school all fall effortlessly into place as his new abilities make life a pleasant dream come true-but not without a terrible price. The same drug that was involuntarily given to Adam has also been taken by a rogue scientist who helped create it. Now, the deranged doctor has set out to become the only one to possess these supernatural gifts by staging multiple assassination attempts to end Adam's life. Adam now has to use his new found intelligence to save not only his life, but the lives of his friends, family, and his one true love.
