Marita nodded. ""I must let one have a chance. I could never, ever let them both go. I dressed them identically today. Deliberately. So I wouldn't know-- immediately- which one--which one--you--you--"" She covered her face with her hands, and sobbing, ran to the car. Two Mothers, and one set of twins. What could ever be so terrible that a mother would relinquish one, yet only one, of her tiny babies? How will she cope with the loss? How will the other mother cope? How will the twins handle the separation if, or rather when they find out?
