Joshua Wilkers' First Hunt takes place in the scenic north woods of Wisconsin during whitetail deer hunting season. Preparation for the hunt is filled with added tension this year with a wave of unresolved murders further heightened with drug trafficking, prostitution, hot goods, and money laundering. Sheriff Tim receives the anonymous help of the Shadow with a cadre of computer crime stoppers who devise a computerized game of self-entrapment. In his first hunt, Joshua -as the mysterious Shadow- returns honor, justice and tranquility to the north.
