Ace's face twisted and turned around and around until it was a distorted mass. Derrick felt a strange sensation like electricity go through his body. His breathing was now starting to accelerate until he was almost hyperventilating. The same flock of birds he had encountered at Serling Enterprises suddenly appeared and crashed through the office window. Derrick covered his face and turned away as the glass from the window shattered into a hundred pieces and landed all over the office floor. At first, the birds were very small. In a few seconds, they had gotten much larger and engulfed the whole room. Out of the flock of birds, the outline of the tall man's face appeared. It was black and transparent.
