On My Heart Is the story told by an 86 year old surgeon as he and his family lived through the Depression years, through the Second World War and up to the present time. He not only gives a glimpse of what life was like during those early years for he, his parents, his brother Charles and sister Shirley, but then some of the times since. It was On His Heart to leave a narrative for his 27 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren to know just a bit more about a generation or two of their immediate relatives, so that they might see, by choosing to seek God's best, they might achieve great goals in their own lives and be an influence in the lives of others around them.
