Welcome, human,' the creature whispered. Aloha shuddered at the thing's rasping, malicious voice. 'W-who are you?' he stammered. The goblin bowed gracefully and replied, 'I am Razzmatazz. I have plans for you, Aloha.' 'H-how do you know my name?' 'Everyone knows the tide swooner.' 'Really?' 'Silence!' he interrupted. 'I need your powers, young one.' Aloha whimpered at bit at Razzmatazz's nasty tone. Razz bared his teeth at the boy and revealed vicious fangs. Aloha gulped. Abandoned by his pod of dolphins, Mari can't seem to catch a break. There was something fishy about Alpha's last comment to him, moments before he asked Mari to leave the pod. Something about the Maiden of the Sea. 'And, of course, our own Mari was one of her legacies,' he had said. One of her legacies? thought Mari. That can't be right. Soon, however, Mari finds a stranded boy, left alone on the dock, abandoned, just like him. He can't help but feel a connection with this boy, whom he names Aloha....
