Brad Thornton is a college graduate who is trying to find himself and get started on his ultimate dream of becoming a writer. However, due to life's curveballs, he has not been able to get motivated in the right direction. By chance one day, he meets an endearing man named Don, who changes his whole life for the better and, in miraculous ways, changes the lives other people he encounters. Don lives in an incredible cabin in the mountains and takes Brad under his wing, motivating him and helping him however he can without asking anything in return. Brad begins questioning whether or not Don is an actual angel of God. After Don assists him in writing his first book, Brad loses contact with him. He drives back to Don's mountain cabin, only to find a dilapidated old cabin instead of the fantastic cabin he once knew. As Brad tries to locate his friend and mentor, he encounters many new friends and is able to help them as Don helped him. He also encounters a challenging love interest....
