From the first paragraph, you know this is not a lighthearted read, but one that will be filled with fright and might. Meredith Ryan is a cop, just like the author was in her former days, and thus the drama jumps off every page...I liked spending time with a woman who works in this risky arena, learning how she mixes her personal world with the constant threat of danger. ...
