On the mean streets of L.A., conspiracy lurks around every corner. A routine traffic stop by two average cops turns into the most interesting investigation of their careers. When Bobby and J.R. pull over a criminal they're familiar with for not having a current license plate, they uncover a wealth of illegal goods in his trunk: stolen computer equipment, pirated movies and software, and the most surprising, a kilo of cocaine, an amount unusually large for Big Ray. When they catch up with Ray's seller, they find that somewhere lies a Chinese passageway.
