The Fifteen Commandments examines the relationship between faith and death, and the difficulty of accepting circumstances beyond our control. Confused by his mother's religion and angered by what he considers an unwarranted punishment, Cai tests his mother's patience by systematically breaking each of her fifteen house rules; but as tragedy looms, Cai realizes there are more important things in life than revenge-and more important people in the world than himself.
