Am I being inspired to exemplify the character of Christ and complete His ministry on earth, or am I being uplifted to just merely feel better about my own life? These are the questions that will bring universal translation and interpretation of Scripture. These are the questions that will produce application of the Bible, not just interpretation. These are the questions that will see the Bible become the foundation to all of life's choices and decisions and a reference guide to every reader. Once this issue settles in the mind of every individual reading Scripture, then happiness won't be relative to any and all lifestyles. Jesus' lifestyle and His way of thinking will be the only way of thinking. Anything other than Christ being glorified is a 'bootlegged' way of thinking.
