Helen Fielding was born in Yorkshire, England. He worked for many years in London as a print journalist and television. He could always traveled to Africa, India and Central America. He has written three other novels: Rich and famous Nambula, Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge, and was co-writer of the films based on his books. Currently devotes all his time to writing novels and screenplays, and lives between London and Los Angeles.
