William Bodham Donne (1807-1882) was an essayist and examiner of plays. He was educated at King Edward VI.'s Grammar School, Bury St. Edmunds, under Dr. Malkin. He wrote articles for the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology (1849). His works include: Address Delivered to the Members of the Norwich Athenaeum, October the 17th, 1845 (1846), Old Roads and New Roads (1852), Essays on the Drama (1858), Euripides (1877) and Tacitus (1877).
