Arthur Hammond Marshall (1866-1934) who wrote under the name Archibald Marshall was a British novelist, essayist and journalist. He worked in publishing, edited the Daily Mail and was a contributor to Punch. His works include: Lord Stirling's Son; or, The Fool of the Family (1895), Peter Binney, Undergraduate (1899), The House of Merrilees (1905), Richard Baldock (1906), Many Junes (1908), The Terrors and Other Stories (1913 ), The Clinton Twins and Other Stories (1923) and Anthony Dare's Progress (1924).
