Watson Smith (1845-1920) was a British chemist and lecturer. He was a demonstrator at Owens College and in 1885 he became lecturer on technological chemistry. In 1906 a collection of his lectures, The Chemistry of Hat Manufacturing: Lectures Delivered Before the Hat Manufacturers' Association was published.
