John Mastin (1865-1932) was a British clergyman, professor, artist and author. His works include: The Stolen Planet: A Scientific Romance (1906), The Immortal Light (1907), Through the Sun in an Airship (1909), The Autobiography of a Picture (1910), The Chemistry, Properties and Tests of Precious Stones (1911), The Ancient Mining of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones (1917) and This Work-a-Day World (1917).
