John Thomas McIntyre (1871-1951) was a prolific Philadelphia author. He wrote extensively in mystery fiction, and in many other genres. His works include: The Ragged Edge: A Tale of Ward Life and Politics (1902), The Young Continentals at Lexington (1909), The Young Continentals at Bunker Hill (1910), Ashton-Kirk, Investigator (1910), The Young Continentals at Trenton (1911), The Young Continentals at Monmouth (1912), A Young Man's Fancy (1919), Blowing Weather (1923), Shot Towers (1926), Slag (1927), Stained Sails (1928) and Drums in the Dawn (1932).
