In the tourist brochure of the city is written: "... a friendly, lively, green city." Whoever has not yet been there might have doubts whether this quotation reflects reality - because whoever thinks of Bielefeld thinks spontaneously of in­dustrial and economic activities - however, Bielefeld shows itself to be harmonious, conge­nial and decidedly human. This illustrated booklet is supposed to help who would like to convey the beauty of their city to others - it is also supposed to give all those who wish to get to know Bielefeld an "appetite" for this city.
