This story takes readers to a strange unique world where the dominant species is an intelligent reclusive winged creature known as a klute. The story unfolds when a dangerous cold blooded flying predator begins invading klute territories and hunting grounds. Raith will help his winged friends from the Sagitarian colony repel the giant airborne nemesis. An earth descendant; Nick Conner, has discovered the unique planet, and stays behind with a girl named Yinna while his two shipmates return to their own world. The humans will eventually come into contact with the klutes and make an alliance when another menacing galactic superpower discovers the planet.
