"Way Ahead" is an imaginative, six-level course for primary school children who are learning English as a second language. The course is reading-based, with a strong communicative flavour. The structures and functions of English are taught through a variety of inviting, child-centred activities, which have been carefully graded, and are suitable for classes in a variety of cultural backgrounds. The Grammar Practice Books provide additional exercises to revise and consolidate the work in the Pupil's Book and Workbook. They have been specially written so they can be completed by a child working alone, and so are ideal for homework, or for extra practice during "quiet time" in the classroom.
