W.E.O Allison completed both a bachelor's degree in Anatomical Sciences and a medical degree in the United Kingdom. Her PhD in Australia focused on the diagnosis of pediatric HIV infection in resource-limited settings. As an experienced clinician and researcher, she moved to the United States several years a er graduation from medical school, and has worked as a physician in the United Kingdom, Australia and the U.S. While experiencing the residency application process as an international medical graduate, Dr. Allison struggled to find a resource that provided a concise overview of the entire process.
