Tom is not the anonymous lost soul he thinks he is. He was born in a bland modern suburb, raised with no traditions and no identity amongst the sameness of a mass-produced society, entered adulthood amidst a series of amusing, but meaningless encounters, and ended up in an almost-accidental marriage. When his ambitious law-student wife moves the new couple to NYC, Tom discovers what was lurking in the shadows throughout his entire life: a stranger who has been following his every bland and predictable move. When Tom learns who this stranger is and why he's been at his heels, his life, friendships, marriage and identity will change. Disconnected is Tom's sardonic, humorous take on how a boy from nowhere finds a place in a world he thought didn't want him.
