Armenian-Cypriots maintain a notable presence of about 3.500 on the island (including a number of non-Cypriot Armenians, mainly from Armenia, Georgia, Lebanon, Russia and Syria), mostly centred in the capital Nicosia, but also with communities in Larnaca and Limassol, where they have churches, schools, organisations and cemeteries; there is also a small unstructured Armenian community in Paphos (all of them originating from Armenia).
