Luke Knoblitz became, in the 2040s, the greatest footballer on Earth. He had almost unearthly powers, as he helped Luton City become the greatest club side in the world. No one knew at the time that Luke was an alien. As well as being an outstanding footballer, both with Luton and England, Knoblitz was also an outstanding cricketer for Bedfordshire and England. He made a successful (if dreadful) record with singing legend Tom O'Hawk, published poetry, acted, and fell out with wild American team-mate Jimmy Suitcase over fashion. Knoblitz also dated some of the world's most desirable women, and was embroiled in a scandal involving the all-female Leeds hooligan gang, the White Rose Bunny Boilers. The story of Luke Knoblitz wouldn't be complete without a mention of the Luton managers who inspired him, such as the alcoholic, but successful, Morgan Bladard, and the pretentious, bumbling, but lovable Jason Shattlodes.
