Tim Christensen (Copenhagen, 2 July 1974) is a Danish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass guitar, drums, Mellotron, harmonium, keyboard, piano and organ. He became famous at age 19 as the singer, guitarist and songwriter of the popular Danish band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, which garnered him the reputation of Denmark's 90s golden boy and near-savior of Danish rock music. After the band's break-up in 1998, he launched a very successful solo career. He makes rock music with pop and folk influences. His live performances border hard rock and his set lists are known to include a large portion of songs off earlier studio albums. In 2010, Christensen went on a reunion tour with Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. His fourth album was made in collaboration with his backing band and is called Tim Christensen and The Damn Crystals.
