ALLAN HICKEY is an Australian who has been there and done that – some of it quite successfully, and some of it a total disaster. However, there’s been a common thread running through the good and not so good times in his life: Fun and laughter. His warped sense of humour, acute sense of irreverence, and the occasional tipple has helped him through the rare flat spots. FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH started out as a diary for Allan’s children but soon developed a life of its own. Now it covers sixty years best described as a shade out of the ordinary. Allan’s "strong” points are in academia, where he has failed exams too numerous to mention; romance, where he has had knockbacks from girls on four continents; and commerce, where he has developed ground-breaking ways to loose money. Allan lives on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in Wagga Wagga, Australia.
