A month-by-month calendar that offers a glimpse into the giddily glamourous romp that is Manhattan's "doggie world." The city's most stylish mutts get dressed to the "k-nines" even for a walk around the block. Photographer Paul Nathan attended "pawties", "puptials," and "barkmitzvahs," and the glamorous New York Pet Fashion Show to find the city's best-dressed dogs to invite back to his studio for a sitting. Yorkshire Terriers in beaded evening gowns, poodles in ballgowns, a Chihuahua in a diamante tie, and a Havanese in a tuxedo are just some of the tricked out tailwaggers in this beautifully printed, full colour calendar. Ironically, in some cases the dogs themselves were once shelter dogs and the events they dress up for usually benefit animal shelters adding a Cinderella-like quality to their stories.
