It didn't take long to find the two black briefcases hidden underneath a pile of dirty clothes. As he expected, both cases were locked, but it didn't take long to open them with a screwdriver from the tool drawer in the kitchen. Tommy's eyes popped wide open when he saw that the first briefcase was full of large bags of white powder. Probably heroin, Tommy thought. The second case was even more of a shock. It was full of money. Fourteen-year-old Tommy's life has not been the same since his mom met Dan. Tommy can deal with Dan's foul mouth and even fouler temper.
