The Hickenbottoms are each secluded in a world of their own, until one of Tommy's bad decisions looks set to change everything. Author biography: Andrew E Checkley was born in Rugby, Warwickshire. After leaving school he took a painting-and-decorating course at East Warwickshire College. Since then, he has taken on various jobs in the local factories. His lifelong hobby is drawing, and he now illustrates his own books for children.
