In this memoir, Val Wilkinson chronicles her travels, recounting the journey that she and her husband, Graham, excitedly embarked on: a road trip taking them through seventeen countries in fourteen weeks over nearly 12,000 miles – all completed in the company of their faithful Morris ‘Moggie’ 1000cc van. Dealing with monsoons, meeting snake charmers and having the ultimate beach barbeque were all in a day’s work on this trip, where learning about countries and cultures was done first hand, and mobile phones and emails were a thing of the future.
