Inter-Plays works and words of writers and critics (A Festschrift published in honor of Albert Reiner Glaap) are a collection of literary and critical texts. Well-known contemporary authors wrote the literary texts from Canada, Great Britain, and New Zealand. With only a few exceptions, all texts included in this volume are published here for the very first time. In order to widen the readers understanding each literary contribution is followed by a critical commentary of a university scholar with the intention of providing a first interpretation and thus putting the text in perspective with regard to its meaning, its position among the other works of its author and discussing its context. Albert Reiner Glaap was bo in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia on September 1, 1929.
