A biography of Margaret Jones (1842-1902) who was born in north Wales and became famous in the nineteenth-century as the `Welsh Lady from Canaan.' She spent a lifetime working as a missionary amongst the Jews in Paris, Jerusalem, and Morocco, spent two years lecturing around the United States, and wrote two Welsh-language books about her experiences.
