Glenn Wemple served on the Board of Trustees of Lassen Community College for 30 years, from 1957-1987. He was President of the Board during many of those years and was a major player in decisions that set the stage for what the College would become. During that time he was appointed representative to the Boards Association, the California Junior College Association Board of Directors and the Junior College Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Building Finance. Glenn is a prolific writer and story teller. He has published Drafted, a book about his time in the service at the end of World War II as well as stories in Small Moments in Time: Memories of Lassen College and a number of stories in the Lassen County Historical Society Newsletter. I Remember Lassen College is an historic memoir sprinkled with Glenn Wemple's own brand of humor.
